The G2210 from Dell was first announced as a preview at CES 2009. The 22-inch LED display, now commercially available, is EPEAT Gold and ENERGY STAR compliant, is an environmentally friendly monitor that combines energy efficiency with recycled materials. It has a larger cousin, the 24-inch Dell G2410.
A built-in ambient light sensor allows the monitor to self-adjust brightness to accommodate for surrounding light conditions. Constructed from no PVC, BFR, CFR, arsenic, or mercury, the body of the monitor is composed of more than 25% post-consumer and recycled materials.
Greenness aside, the monitor is a capable display with 1680 x 1050 resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, and a 5 ms response time. Equipped with both analog VGA and DVI-D connectors, the monitor is available in black.
