Alienware's OptX AW2210 is "designed to intimidate," according to the marketing copy. Its harshly angled, black design should accomplish that, and while we're not quite so impressed by the specs that we'll say they should be intimidating (the bar is set pretty high these days with 3D panels and the like), they're more than good enough for most PC gamers.

The 21.5-inch display has a native resolution of 1920 x 1080, an 80,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, and a very fast 2-millisecond response time. You can plug two HDMI cables, one DVI cable, and as many as five USB cords into it, and it has audio in and out.

The AW2210 is available now for $299 — very affordable for a high-end display from a boutique manufacturer, actually.
