The Acer H243Hbmid is an 24-inch, widescreen LCD monitor with full HD, 16:9 aspect ratio capabilities and a 1920 x 1080 resolution. The display has 160 degrees of angle visibility, both vertically and horizontally, a 2ms response time for watching movement-intense video or graphics, and a contrast ratio of 40000:1. The slightly smaller H223HQbmid has an equal resolution and a lower price tag, but a 5ms response time and a lower, 20000:1 contrast ratio. The display is compatible with digital or analog RGB signals, and has inputs for both DVI-D (HDCP) and HDMI (version 1.1) video formats, along two built-in speakers. Japanese prices work out to be approximately $422.
