Google Chrome OS unveiled, released to open source community

Sony's CyberShot DSC-TX1 is (along with the DSC-WX1) one of the two first vanguards to feature Sony's "Exmor R back illuminated CMOS technology," which the manufacturer promises provides significantly better low-light performance than you'll get in competing digicams.

This camera shoots still images at 10.2 megapixels and video at 720p, and it also features a 4x telescopic zoom, 10 fps burst shooting, face detection, a wide panorama mode, a 3-inch LCD for previewing your image, and a Carl Zeiss Vario-Tesar lens.

The DSC-TX1 will be available this September for $380 in blue, silver, gray, and pink. Read the press release under the product details tab.
