Officially released on January 8th at CES 2009, the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-G3 is notable as a digital camera with integrated WiFi for uploading photos and videos through any public hotspot via its built-in web browser. The DSC-G3 also comes with complimentary access via nationwide AT&T WiFi hotspots to Sony's Easy Upload Home Page—which includes direct links to photo and video sharing sites like Shutterfly, Google's Picasa Web Albums, YouTube, Dailymotion, and Photobucket—until Jan. 31, 2012. The Cyber-shot DSC-G3 features a 10 megapixel sensor, a Carl Zeiss lens, 4x optical zoom, face recognition technology, and a MSRP of $500.
The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-G3 was preceded by the DSC-G1, which was announced more than a year ago.
