Samsung adds media functions to the digital camera with its CL5, which features an integrated MP3 player that lets you download a select number of songs onto the camera so you can match music up with slideshows or create your own private music video with recorded movie clips. The camera comes with a 9-megapixel sensor, a 2.7 LCD screen, and a 3x optical zoom lens. You can switch on the blink detection mode to avoid photographing subjects with closed eyes, use the smile mode to detect smiles automatically, turn on the beauty mode for automatic skin retouching, and move to the self-portrait mode that lets you know when your own face is properly positioned in the frame. The camera also has smart album technology for automatically organizing pictures. It comes in silver, black, red, pink, purple, and other colors, and will be available in April of 2009.
