Panasonic's Lumix ZR1 is notable for its 0.3-millimeter thin aspherical lens; the camera is extremely thin even though the lens can extend out and give you the performance you'd expect from any other 25mm wide angle lens. You'll get an impressive 8x optical zoom as well.
Images are taken at a resolution of 12.1 megapixels. Panasonic brags that the ZR1 has a fast-acting auto-focus, but exact specifications are elusive right now. You'll be able to try it out for yourself when the camera launches this September at $280.
