Google Chrome OS unveiled, released to open source community

Panasonic's Lumix FZ35 is the successor to last year's FZ28; its flagship feature is its 18x optical zoom, but it also records video in high definition; you can even adjust aperture and shutter settings while shooting videos.

When shooting still images, you can adjust the colors on the fly, as well as switch to High Dynamic Mode. Panasonic also boasts of superior image stabilization technology, but we'll wait to see tests before believing it.

The photos it takes have a disappointing resolution of 12.1 megapixels; at least, that's slightly less than you'd hope for from a camera that costs $400.
