Google Chrome OS unveiled, released to open source community

Panasonic's Lumix FP8 takes photos at a resolution of 12.1 megapixels; its flagship feature is its ability record video in 720p high definition. It also has a 4.6x optical zoom and a 28mm wide-angle lens.

You can connect the FP8 to an HDTV via component video cables. Also included are 12 scene modes and photo editing software. None of these features are big standouts, but it seems like a well-rounded camera. You can judge for yourself when it reaches stores this September at a price of $300.
