Olympus' E-600 is essentially the same as the E-620 model, but a few features have been pulled to bring the price down to $600 from $700. The E-600 lacks several of the art filters found in the E-620, along with button backlighting, the double-shot exposure mode, and aspect ratio controls.
Core specs remain the same. It's a 12.3-megapixel camera with a 2.7-inch swiveling LCD display and an ED 14-42mm f3.5/5.6 lens with 3x optical zoom. ISO sensitivity tops out at 3200, and you'll get in-body image stabilization in this model. Images are stored on UDMA, xD, or CF cards.
Look for the Olympus E-620 on store shelves and at online retailers this November.
