The Nikon D3S is the 12.1-megapixel successor to the popular Nikon D3. It's loaded with a number of pro features, and if a normal ISO range of 200 to 12,800 isn't enough for you, you can crank it up to 102,400, so expect some solid low-light performance.
HD video recording is also in the mix here: 720p at 24 frames per second, and that large ISO sensitivity range works with video too. Aperture control goes from f/1.4 to f/16 in both still and video mode, too. You'll get 51 AF points, which is always nice, and dual CompactFlash card slots let you do consecutive or simultaneous recording.
The price is $5,200 for just the body. You'll have to drop some extra cash for the lens. Nikon says the D3S will launch sometime in late November. Take a look at the product details tab for the lengthy press release.
