The Kodak Z980 is a 12-megapixel camera with a 24x optical zoom. The mega-zoom camera has a 26mm wide-angle professional-quality lens, image stabilization, vertical shutter release, and a hot show to attaching an additional external flash. The camera has a 3-inch LCD display to help frame your shots, and review pictures that you've already taken, and has a Smart Capture function to help make sure the settings on your camera are set correctly for your particular lighting situation and those pictures look the best that they can be. In addition to taking photographs the Z980 also has the ability to capture high-definition video, so you can record video of your favorite events in addition to taking high-resolution pictures.
