The Epson R-D1x is the latest iteration of the original R-D1, a rangefinder camera -- a type of camera that measures distance. As such, it retains the qualities of its predecessor: a 6-megapixel sensor, RAW and JPEG support, and support for L and M glass lenses, but adds a new handgrip, a 2.5-inch display, a half-inch larger than the R-D1, and improved image processing, and compatibility with SDHC memory cards, up to 32 GB. While there is no confirmed price, the Epson R-D1x will be released on April 9th.
