The Canon PowerShot A590 IS is a compact point-and-shoot released on January 24, 2008. The PowerShot A590 IS comes with 8 megapixels, 4x optical zoom, an Optical Image Stabilizer, and a 2.5-inch LCD. Shooting modes vary from manual to automatic, with a new Easy Mode. Once Easy Mode is selected, the PowerShot A590 IS handles the details automatically. The PowerShot A590 IS also has A DIGIC III Image Processor with Enhanced Canon Face Detection WB technology. Face Detection WB has the camera concentrate on faces while calculating white balance for the best skin tones. The A590IS also features a Print/Share button for easy direct printing and downloading. If you use select Pixma printers or Selphy compact photo printers an ID Photo Print and Movie Print option is also available.
