Agfaphoto isn't generally known for its waterproof, rugged cameras, but the DV-600uw seems like it would do a stand-up job. It's functional underwater as deep as 33 feet, it's shock and drop-resistant, and it's designed to keep dust and dirt out.
The more traditional camera features are less impressive. It's a point-and-shoot for sure but there are cell phone cameras that only a little bit less snazzy; the DV-600uw takes 6-megapixel images and has 32 MB of internal memory with an SDHC slot that can bring that up to 8 GB. It has a digital zoom and a 2.4-inch LCD. Nothing to write home about, but the draw is the durability, not the picture quality.
