Google Nexus One and HTC Supersonic 4G smartphone heading to Sprint

Energy efficiency and hardcore gaming don't generally go hand in hand, but Maingear's Pulse desktop computer aims to fill that mostly empty space in the market. It's a compact gaming desktop that runs comfortably on an (allegedly) 80% efficient, 300-watt power supply.

Graphics are obviously important to gamers, so the Pulse can be configured with one of two options: either the extremely low-power NVIDIA ION platform, or a more powerful (but still 40% less electricity-hungry than its non-ECO counterpart) NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT ECO discrete graphics card.

The little box also includes an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, Wi-Fi, and up to eight gigabytes of RAM. Prices start at $799, and it's available for now at Maingear's website.
