Google Chrome OS unveiled, released to open source community

The HP Pavilion Slimline s3600z is a compact desktop PC featuring an AMD dual-core processor (2.3GHz) and 2GB of RAM with a 250GB standard hard drive (7200rpm). The DVD+/-R/RW SuperMulti drive comes with the Lightscribe function for designing personal disk labels, and an integrated NVIDIA card for supporting the standard model graphics. Six USB ports and a 15-in-1 digital media card reader provide device connectivity, while an integrated 10/100Mbps Ethernet port gives the PC network access and Windows Vista Home Premium comes as the standard operating system. The s3600z has a starting price (standard model) of $379.99, though consumers can customize the computer to include more expensive add-ons such as a Blu-ray writer/player and extra hard drive space up to 640GB.
