Product Details

The HP Firebird 803, announced at CES 2009, is a compact gaming PC designed by HP's Voodoo division. It's equipped with an Intel Core 2 Quad 2.83 Ghz processor, 4 GB of PC2-6400 DDR2 memory, dual SLI NVIDIA GeForce 9800S video with 512 MB GDDR3 memory, a 640 GB hard drive, Creative Labs X-Fi audio, and a sealed liquid cooling system. The front of the unit sports a slot-loading Blu-ray and DVD SuperMulti drive and a 5-in-1 memory card reader, while six USB 2.0, one FireWire, two eSATA, one gigabit Ethernet, one HDMI, one DVI-I, one ExpressCard-54, and 5.1-channel audio ports round out the rear. WiFi (802.11 b/g/n) and Bluetooth interfaces are also included. The Firebird 803's small size - 6.2 inches wide, 17.8 inches deep, and 18.90 inches tall - owes, in part, to its external 350W power supply.
