The HP Firebird 802 is a compact gaming PC designed by HP's Voodoo division. Under the hood is an Intel Core 2 Quad 2.66 Ghz processor, 4 GB of PC2-6400 DDR2 memory, dual SLI NVIDIA GeForce 9800S video with 512 MB GDDR3 memory, and a 500 GB hard drive. All this is kept cool by a sealed liquid cooling system.

The uncluttered front of the Firebird sports a slot-loading DVD SuperMulti drive and a 5-in-1 memory card reader. The rear is packed with six USB 2.0, one FireWire, and two eSATA ports for external devices, one HDMI and one DVI-I port for video, an ExpressCard-54 slot, 5.1-channel audio outputs, and an Ethernet port.

It's larger than it looks in photos, but at 6.2 inches wide, 17.8 inches deep, and 18.9 inches tall, the Firebird is still "mini" compared to most gaming PCs, which owes in part to HP moving the 350W power supply, which ordinarily would take up room inside the case, to an external power brick.
