Google Chrome OS unveiled, released to open source community

HP's Compaq Presario Mini-Q 2020 is a compact personal computer built for affordability and featuring a 1.6GHz Atom 230 processor and 1GB of RAM. The computer comes with the Windows XP Home operating system, four USB ports, a multi-mode DVD burner, and a VGA analog video output. For about a hundred dollars more, users can purchase the 2030 with twice as much RAM and a dual-core processor, though the system will be first available only in Taiwan. There is no word yet of an American release of either model, though the 2020's price works out to be approximately $296.
