Gateway's new SX-series desktop is a small form factor PC designed for space-limited areas like dorm rooms. It's intended for home use — Gateway's press release even suggests that it's "casual gaming" capable, although its integrated Intel graphics will nip that in the bud if you want to play 3D games.
The processor is an impressive 2.33 GHz Intel Core 2 Quad, however, and the system also has 4 GB of RAM and 640 GB of hard drive space, plus a DVD burner — all very impressive for a small form factor PC.
The SX also comes with an HDMI port for TV connectivity. The default configuration costs $499.
