The Dell XPS 730 is a desktop PC equipped with high-end gaming capabilities and featuring a boosted CPU, overclocked RAM, and support for both CrossFire and SLI mutligraphics card configurations. The basic model runs on an Intel Core2 processor (6MB, 3.0 GHz) but also only runs about $1600, with the overclocked version (up to 3.6GHz) priced at $3699 for a standard model and prices rising from there. The 730 is similar to the Maingear Ephex, another overclocked gaming PC that has both lower graphics capabilities and a lower price, but includes customization options on par with the 730, letting users choose a large number of their upgrades. For storage, the 730 offers hard drive capacities from 500GB to 1TB, while sound features range from 7.1 surround sound to the X-Fi gamer sound card.
