3D TV coming to Best Buy this week

Product Details

Dell's Inspiron Zino is a Mac mini-esque tiny desktop computer intended partly to be used as a home theater PC in your living room.

The base specs are relatively conservative: a 1.6 GHz AMD Athlon processor, 2 GB of RAM, 250 GB of hard drive space, a DVD rewrite drive, and integrated ATI Radeon HD3200 graphics.

But what sets this machine apart from other tiny HTPCs is how much you optionally can pack into it if you have the cash. You can opt for a Blu-ray drive, a discrete ATI Radeon HD 4330 graphics card with 512 MB of dedicated video memory, 8 GB of RAM, 1 TB of storage, and a 1.8 GHz dual core Athlon CPU. That's quite a bit more than we're used to seeing in this type of machine.

The basic configuration starts at $229, and it's available for order from Dell today. It's worth noting that a TV tuner is not yet a configuration option, but that it will be at some point in the future.
