Google Chrome OS unveiled, released to open source community

The Compaq Presario SR5605F is a desktop PC focused on affordability and standard functions, featuring an Athlon single core processor with 2.70 GHz and a 512KB L2 Cache. In terms of memory, graphics, and processing power the SR5605F resembles Compaq's more expensive SR5550f model, which has many of the same functions and ports. However, the SR5605F accompanies its low cost with a standard hard drive capacity of 250 GB, only half of the higher priced model, and diminished sound card capabilities. The 6 USB ports (2 in the front, 4 in the back), CD and DVD burner, and 10/100Base-T Ethernet network interface also remain the same between the two models. The SR5605F has Windows Vista Home Premium included for an operating system.
