One of Acer's higher-end consumer desktops, the Aspire Prestige M5800 is a standard-sized tower ships with a very speedy 2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Quad processor, eight gigabytes of RAM, a 750 GB hard drive, Wi-Fi, and an NVIDIA GeForce GT230 graphics card with 1.5 GB of dedicated video memory.
There's not much else to say about it besides the specs, but at $800 they're not bad at all. The desktop has a typical brushed metal appearance; it won't catch any eyes but it won't offend the ones that notice it either.
They say desktop computers are on their way out, but Acer's still trying to tempt you with specs that would cost you a small fortune in a laptop. The M5800 is available now.
