I want to take my (purchased in US) ASUS 900 with me to Great Britain this summer. Can I use my ASUS safely with just a plug adapter (no 220V converter needed)?

As it is made in China where voltage is the same as Europe, it is dual voltage, but some models switch automatically from 110v to 220v, whereas some have a switch on bottom or back (read your owner's manual and the bottom label for specs and instrutions for your model or look up your model's specs on google. Usually no problem except the plugs in Europe are 2-round prongs, not flat. so you need to buy a plug converter at Radio Shack. Get the package that has a set for worldwide travel so you cover Britain and Australia, which have 3 prongs. Britain is NOT part of the EU so plugs there and voltage could be different. Go to Radio Shack, ask for the tech expert or someone whotravels out of usa a lot like me. These same plugs are needed for cellphone recharging, also. So, if you only have 1 set and no voltage converter, you can only charge 1 thing at a time. So get both if you have both as the voltage converter already has the plug converter built in. But it is only good for 2 countries! So, sometimes you may need both 2 chage something in a 3rd country!
