Google Chrome OS unveiled, released to open source community

The latest revision to T-Mobile's original Shadow handset, the updated slider smartphone packs a 2.6-inch QVGA display with a spinning scroll wheel and a slide-out 20-key text keyboard. Manufactured by HTC, the phone's features include WiFi networking, a 2-megapixel camera, quad-band GSM/EDGE, a microSD memory card slot, and support for T-Mobile's Hotspot@ Home service -the first phone running Windows Mobile 6.1 to support the service. The phone was released on January 28, 2009, and retails for $150 with a two-year service contract.
