Google Nexus One and HTC Supersonic 4G smartphone heading to Sprint

HTC's Espresso, soon to be better known in the states as the T-Mobile myTouch 2, is an Android-powered smartphone. The device follows the lineage of the famous G1 Android phone, as the original myTouch was sold as the G2. This new release returns to the series' original design, adding back in a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. Considering most other Android phones are touchscreen-only, it's a nice option to have.

Available specifications are a bit limited, but we can expect the phone to perform similarly to a G1 with a few tweaks along the way: for example, the trackball has changed into a mini-trackpad. Like any good non-Apple phone, the myTouch 2 accepts microSD for expansion. We also know that it will include a camera with flash (LED though, not xenon) and pack a 1300mAh battery.

There's no word yet on availability or pricing, so check back with Obsessable for updates.
