The Behold SGH-T919 is Samsung's latest touchscreen smartphone, and is similar to the Samsung Omnia, although the Behold is exclusive to T-Mobile. The 3-inch touchscreen is identical in size, resolution, and color depth to that on the Omnia and LG's Dare, which makes it smaller than the iPhone's screen, but the Behold has a smaller overall form factor than any of the above. The screen also uses Samsung's new TouchWiz interface, which first appeared on the Omnia, and includes now-standard touchscreen trappings like an accelerometer to automatically switch to a landscape display, and a QWERTY keyboard tool that can be opened on-screen.

The Behold's 5-megapixel camera is currently the highest resolution camera on a T-Mobile phone, and can take pictures up to 2560 x 1920 pixels. The camera is accompanied by a host of optimization settings and editing features including scene settings, an anti-shake feature, and color effects that would be at home in a standalone digital camera. Video recording is also available, with MicroSD cards up to 16GB accomodating external storage above and beyond the 180MB internal memory. While GPS, a music player, email, and a web browser are all present and accounted for, the standard smartphone feature most notably missing is Wi-Fi capability. The Behold relies entirely on T-Mobile's 3G network for internet functions.
