Google Nexus One and HTC Supersonic 4G smartphone heading to Sprint

Pantech's Slate is a Blackberry-like phone with full QWERTY thumbboard that Pantech claims to be the world's thinnest such device at 0.39 inches thick. The Blackberry Bold, for comparison, is almost a quarter-inch thicker at 0.6 inches. The Slate, available through AT&T Wireless, sports a 1.3-megapixel camera and features mobile email and instant messaging software to complement its backlit thumbboard. Though the phone has a web browser, it lacks 3G support, with EDGE data the fastest connection available. There's enough room in the slim Slate for a 930mAh battery, granting up to three hours talk time per charge. The phone starts at $250, though rebates and service plan discounts bring it down to $50, making it cheaper than most competing Blackberry and Palm models.
