Google Chrome OS unveiled, released to open source community

The N86 is an 8-megapixel N-series slider smartphone from Finnish manufacturer Nokia. Featuring a Carl Zeiss lens with a dual LED flash, AutoFocus, 2.6-inch OLED display (at 240 x 320 QVGA resolution), Assisted GPS, Bluetooth 2.0, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi and 8 GB of internal memory expandable via microSD card in sizes up to 16 GB. Running on Symbian S60, the N86 also includes a standard 3.5 mm headphone jack, connectivity via microUSB, and media uploads via Ovi Share.

Nokia announced on June 10, 2009 the N86 was shipping worldwide, sold unlocked starting at €425 or about $600 U.S. dollars. It wasn't shipping in the United States yet though.

The U.S. launch came on September 18th, 2009. The phone is available unlocked from a variety of retailers, including Nokia's official website. The suggested U.S. retail price is $499, but Amazon has it for $469.99.
