The Nokia 7501 Supernova is a clamshell phone focused on media capabilities, featuring a hidden front display that shows through the cover, a built-in FM stereo, and a music player compatible with MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+ and WMA audio files, in addition to MPEG4 video clips. The 7501 supports messaging, web browsing, and enables access to the Nokia Music Store, Nokia Music PC Client, Nokia Maps 1.2 for navigation, and Nokia Widsets. Users can snap pictures with the built-in 2-megapixel with a 4x digital zoom, and store their image files on the 27 MB of internal memory or the included 512 MB microSD card. The phone supports quad-band GSM/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 networks. The 7510 is due to be released January 2009, with a retail price of about $250.
