Nokia's 5160 XpressMusic is a slider phone designed to be a capable music player that also works well as a phone. A sibling to the slimmer 5310 candybar version, the 5160 is almost double the thickness at 17 millimeters likely as a result of the slider form-factor and the three megapixel camera with autofocus. Capable of taking good photos even in low light (thanks to an LED flash), this bulkier phone still functions well as a music device with its microSD memory card slot, 22 hours of playback, and included 2GB card and dedicated music slider bar that allows users to instantly switch between phone, music player, and radio modes. Other niceties include voice control without a need for pre-recorded commands, the ability to record phone calls, and stereo Bluetooth with A2DP. Sporting Symbian's Series 40 operating system that syncs with Outlook using Nokia's PC software, the device includes a strong organizer, address book, dozens of utility functions, and the ability to run decent Java games.
