Announced as a rumored media phone by Daily Mobile, the Nokia 5530 XpressMusic is music handset featuring a 2.9-inch touchscreen and the Symbian S60 5th edition operating system.
The phone has WiFi technology, a 3.2-megapixel camera, an FM radio with RDS technology, and microSD memory card compatibility, making it a lesser version of the Nokia 5800. As with the other XpressMusic phones, the main draw is that it can play music and other media files. The severe downside is that it only does 2G internet; that's a bit tragic, seeing as how most decent phones do 3G now.
Nokia has not put out any press releases about this phone, but it has already been offered for pre-order on the Nokia website for $290, and a September ship date is rumored.
