Google Chrome OS unveiled, released to open source community

LG's LG-SU100 is a full-touchscreen candybar, revealed at the KES 2008, and notable for its large OLED screen. OLED products are often very small or very expensive and though LG hasn't released a price for the SU100, the three-inch screen is only slightly smaller than the iPhone's. The phone includes scheduling software from FranklinCovey, maker of popular business day planners. LG also bundles in dictionary software and a yet-unnamed web browser.

The SU100 sports a three-megapixel camera and supports "global roaming", though the networks it operates on haven't been revealed. The inclusion of an S-DMB TV tuner, a video broadcast standard not used in the US, suggests the SU100 will not see an official American release.
