LG has announced the main specs of its upcoming Prada model, the Prada II. In addition to the 3-inch touchscreen sported by the revolutionary orginal Prada, the Prada II comes with a thin slide-out keyboard for easier texting. The camera function has been updated from the 2 megapixels in the older model to 5 megapixels including flash and VGA recording capabilities, though this is still lower than the 8 megapixels of the recently released LG KC910.
LG has added compatibility for video calling and a full HTML browser to update the conferencing and online functions, formally only compatible with Microsoft Office. The Prada II also has a motion sensor, updated Bluetooth 2.1 compatibility, FM radio and a larger 950 mAh battery. Set to be released in Europe later this quarter, late-October or early November, the Prada II is priced at 600 Euros. There is no word yet on the American release.
