The Kyocera Laylo M1400 is a simplistic, basic function-oriented slider phone featuring a 2.2-inch display and a slide-out numeric keypad. You can send texts and multimedia messages, snap images and video clips with the VGA camera, record voice memos, and use Bluetooth accessories with the Laylo, which has CDMA connectivity. The phone's address book can hold up to 500 contacts and its voice recognition system allows you to dial via hands-free devices. It also has a personal organizer and a WAP browser. There is no word yet on when Kyocera is planning to release the slider phone, nor how much it will cost.
