The Kogan Agora is an Australian smartphone due to be released on January 29, 2008, featuring a 2.5-inch touchscreen, a full QWERTY keyboard, and quadband GSM connectivity (850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz) for international use. Using the Android operating system, users can search the Web, customize their homepages, view images or videos over their email, and make use of access to several Google services including GoogleTalk, Google Calendar, and Google Maps. The phone is also equipped with a music player, Bluetooth 2.0 with Enhanced Data Rate (EDR) capabilities, and a MicroSD card slot for memory expansion. For about $60 more, users can purchase the Kogan Agora Pro, with GPS and WiFi included. The standard Kogan Agora will be selling with an Australian price of $299, approximate $190 in U.S. dollars and is available for pre-order now.
