Google Chrome OS unveiled, released to open source community

The Kogan Agora Pro is an Australian smartphone due to be released on January 29, 2009 and featuring the Android operating system, quad-band service for international networks, WiFi capabilities, and an internal GPS unit. The phone uses a 2.5-inch touchscreen interface and a full QWERTY keypad to access the web browser, customizable home screen, and email with attachment support. Users can also access Google services such as Google Search and Google Maps. The phone comes equipped with a music player, a 2.0-megapixel camera, and Bluetooth 2.0 capabilities.  The standard Agora will also be available, with a retail price of AU$299 or about $190 U.S. but without the added GPS, WiFi, and camera. The Agora Pro starts at AU$399 or about $250 U.S. and it is available for pre-order now
