Google Chrome OS unveiled, released to open source community

The INQ Mini 3G is the cheaper of two successors to the INQ1 social networking phone. While the hardware is less advanced than that of the larger INQ Chat — a numeric keypad instead of a QWERTY keyboard, a 2-megapixel camera instead of 3.2-megapixel, and no GPS — the software is similar, and that's the selling point.

INQ's devices are loaded with chat and social networking apps. Included in this model are Facebook, Skype, Windows Messenger, Gmail (with push), Twitter, and the ability to sync with Apple iTunes.

This phone is designed for messaging, not media playback, so onboard storage is limited. You can expand with a microSD card, though. The INQ Mini 3G will be released in Europe by the end of the year, but no North American launch is planned yet.
