Google Nexus One and HTC Supersonic 4G smartphone heading to Sprint

The Casio Exilim (originally rumoured as the Exilim C721) combines qualities of a digital camera and a media-oriented cell phone. On the camera side, it contains a 5.1-megapixel camera equipped with autofocus, camcorder capabilities, image stabilization, and a 3x optical zoom function. For cell phone qualities, it has a 2.3-inch main display, Bluetooth support for hands-free talking, compatibility with EV-DO Rev A networks, and a music player that can handle MP3, WMA, AAC, and AAC+ song formats. You also get Verizon services for V CAST Music with Rhapsody, Media Center, Visual Voicemail, and other functions.

The phone is created at rugged specifications to resist water, dust, shock, and temperature extremes. Prices start at $279 with a $50 mail-in rebate and two-year contract, while the contractless retail price comes to $449; the phone is available now on Verizon.

The full press release is available on the product details page.
