Google Chrome OS unveiled, released to open source community

RIM's BlackBerry Bold 9000 is a quad-band GSM/EDGE, tri-band UMTS candybar handset with a smooth, fretted QWERTY thumb board, available exclusively through AT&T. As the company's flagship device at the time of its release — soon to be arguably eclipsed by the touchscreen BlackBerry Storm — this model runs on a powerful 624MHz processor supplemented by 1GB of storage and 128MB of flash RAM (plus a microSD slot for expansion), and features a full suite of wireless options, including 3G HSDPA, A2DP-capable Bluetooth, 802.11a/b/g WiFi, and GPS with bundled navigation software. Its 480 x 320 pixel display is the highest resolution ever for a BlackBerry in this form factor, making it more than suitable for media playback — the Bold is capable of handling a number of video and audio codecs.
