Google Chrome OS unveiled, released to open source community

First spotted in May of 2008, the BlackBerry Tour 9630 (codenamed "Niagara") is an upcoming entrant in the popular BlackBerry line of smartphones. With a physical design reminiscent of a blend between the BlackBerry Curve 8900 and the BlackBerry Bold 9000, the 9630 is a global CDMA/GSM World Edition device featuring both EDGE/UMTS and EV-DO Rev. A data speeds, GPS, 480 x 360 resolution LCD display, full QWERTY keyboard, and a 3.2-megapixel camera but notably, no Wi-Fi support.

Both Verizon and Sprint have confirmed they'll be offering the Tour; Verizon will start selling it on July 12, and Sprint has now confirmed a July 12 sell date as well. On both carriers the Tour will be $199.99 on 2-year contract and after rebate.

Sprint has also announced a version of the Tour with Wi-Fi is expected to be released in 2010.
