This phone kinda sucks. It's touch screen doesn't work all the time, and there is no easy way to download music. The qwerty keyboard is awesome, and I thought this phone would be better than the sidekick, because mine never worked, but the quickfire is not that great of a cell phone.

Is it really a good phone in your guys opinion, because I am thinking about getting on for Cgristmas but I'm not sure if I want to waste my money on something that may not be as good as it seems?

stupid phone. the qwerty keyboard works awesome, the touchscreen is neat BUT i can bluetooth my old contacts to the new phone or to my car, cant communicate with my apple computer or my moms other at&t cell phone.... Very irritated!

its your best bet as a quick texting phone. has a cool way of taking pics. one flaw- you cant transfer bluetooth files which makes it tough to get free music or ringtones without a usb cable. the touchscreen is fine. dont expect and iphone caliber response but in my opinion it is much beteer than the LG Vu and Dare, and also the eternity

wow what retards that say the quickfire is not a nice phone if that is the case all phones have their short commings damn if it was a phone that did each and everything than you would be complaining because the price would be extreme so if you do not like the phone than that is you but do not ruin it for the people who could possibly like it and enjoy it go get a phone made just for you than you won't have any complaints see if someone can build you a phone like they do a computer but until then just shut up and get the phone you like. geesh.

I'm trying to decide between the Propel and the Quickfire... I hear that the Quickfire is much better for a textaholic like myself, but it doesn't have bluetooth capability. I'm getting the phone I choose for Christmas sooo I have to make a decision SOON! Any suggestions would be helpful. :)

I got the Propel and love it, also my son got the Quickfire and he loves it, so they are both great phones!! You just have to make a choice between touch screen or not.

i have the quickfire and there's no problem with it. the touch screen is really fast and pics are great. the keyboard is really easy to use too. the only thing is, you can't bluetooth. BUT, if you have a friend send you a ringtone, you can save it. so, really, it's not that bad.

Most of the other features - the HTML browser, the 1.3-megapixel camera, the touchscreen, and the battery life - are all average to slightly above average, but the real story is that they're all included for $99. As the phone is marketed towards kids, though, most of the action is in the messaging features.

Conversely, if you're one of those people who still prefers to actually talk on the phone the Quickfire makes clear calls, so you're covered there, too. The QWERTY keyboard is spacious and easy to use, though the keys are a bit flat. The Quickfire is aimed at younger generations of text-happy kids and, thankfully, it excels in pretty much every aspect of the messaging department. Whether your favorite means of word transference is IM, e-mail, or text messaging, the Quickfire handles each with ease.

this phones been giving me a lot of troubles.
ive had two so far. my first one the touchscreen barely worked and i would have to take the battery out then back in for it to work and this happened every five minutes until the screen got toally messed up for no apparent reason, then the one i have now the screen went black and wont turn on and when it was charging last night it was telling me to insert the battery but it was already inserted. its slow sometimes but the keyboard is okay. the camera doesnt take the best pictures but the sound for video and music is amazing. i dont know i never have good phones so i dont know what to tell you.

I just got the Quickfire phone a few weeks ago and I was so excited b/c it had everything i wanted including bluetooth and come to find out the stupid thing doesn't even work. I have tried connecting with other phones and even bought an bluetooth adapter for my computer and it still won't work. I would never suggest this phone to anyone.
