The Acer F1 is an ultra high-end, touchscreen smartphone that runs the Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system. While the core software is Windows, the interface is Acer's custom Suite 2.0 software. Specifics about what apps will be included or available for download haven't been revealed, but you can probably expect the usual smartphone fare.
Like the Toshiba TG01, the F1 reportedly uses Qualcomm's heralded Snapdragon processor, running at an 800 MHz. It also has an ATI graphics chip. 3D and video performance should be very impressive. You'll have to shell out €560 or $758 to take advantage, though. That seems awfully steep for a phone to us, but it's possible that it will come at a more manageable up front price in a contract plan.
Markets and carriers haven't been announced yet.
