The Sanyo Xacti DMX-CA9 is a vertical form digital camcorder featuring standard 720p HD recording abilities and waterproof technology that allows the camcorder to be submerged up to five feet. Users can snap 9-megapixel still images with the reverse sequential photo function that begins to capture photos as soon as the button is pressed. Sanyo's motion correction and face chaser function help users track subjects and take clearer recordings. There is no word yet on prices or an American release, but Sanyo will also be shipping the DMX-CA9, a horizontal form camcorder with a 30x zoom and deeper submersion capabilities.
