Google Chrome OS unveiled, released to open source community

Comparisons to the Flip Ultra HD are inevitable for a pocketable HD camcorder like this, but the Samsung HMX-U10 actually bests in the Flip in some important ways. The most important of those: its larger CMOS sensor enables it to record video at 1080p resolution. Competing pocketables only do 720p. This camcorder also impresses by taking 10-megapixel still images.

Apart from those tidbits, it's pretty standard. Admittedly it's very small at 56 x 103 x 15.5-mm and 95g, but it mostly fulfills the standard pocketable HD camera role with a 2-inch display, USB charging and computer connectivity, one-button YouTube uploads, and some limited editing on the camera.

Look for it on store shelves actual and virtual this September; the price is likely to be around $200.
