Panasonic's HDC-TM300, introduced at CES 2009, is a "semi-professional" camcorder with 32 GB of built-in flash memory and an SDHC slot for up to 32 GB of additional capacity. It will shoot full 1080p video as well as still photos up to 10.6 megapixels, or 8.3 megapixels while simultaneously recording video. The HDC-TM300 has a Leica lens, 12X optical zoom (30X digital), and a manual ring that can control zoom, focus, aperture, shutter speed and white balance. Its Auto Focus Tracking feature, according to Panasonic, lets the user touch an object or person on the 2.7-inch LCD screen to automatically keep that subject in focus.
