Google Chrome OS unveiled, released to open source community

The HDC-HS300 is the latest High Definition camcorder from Panasonic. Featuring a touch-screen, the interface allows the user to operate the camcorder through icon based menus. The biggest change present in the HDC-HS300 is Panasonic's new 3MOS chip system. Putting three separate full-HD MOS sensors to work, the HS300 provides up to 9,150,000 pixels when capturing video. The camcorder can record still images (10.6-megapixels, and simultaneous still capture during video recording at 8.3-megapixels). Also new to the HDC series is the large-aperture Leica Dicomar lens. With its 120 GB hard drive, the HS300 can store up to 50 hours of video (in HE mode). The manual ring, electronic viewfinder, and microphone terminal all provide users with more professional and customizable recording opportunities. Amidst the other features are its 1.9 seconds power up, 5-microphone system for recording sound to be faithfully reproduced by a 5.1-channel surround sound system, and auto focus tracking.
