Asia gets all the coolest gadgets — a well known fact among tech aficionados. The DigiLife DDV-JF1 hasn't seen any North American or European release announcement, and such an announcement is unlikely, but you have to admire the device. It's a portable 720p camcorder (ala the Flip Mino HD or Kodak Zx1), but it also includes a projector, too.
That means you can record videos on a pocket-sized camcorder and then project them on the wall with the same device. Unfortunately, the projector doesn't project at 720p; it only does 640 x 460 resolution. But it's still neat. Oh, and you can check out your videos on a 3.5-inch LCD screen if you don't want to share them with the whole room.
No word whatsoever on price or availabilty, though.
